Introduction
AFTN VFW Memorial Post 10249 was established in January 1972. The post is named in honor of the nine Air Force Thailand Network (AFTN) members who lost their lives during the Vietnam War. These Airmen were killed when a battle damaged F-4 aircraft was attempting to land, lost control, and crashed into Armed Forces Thailand Station (AFTN), facilities and barracks. We salute those members of AFTN who gave their lives in service to our country.
